About our story
The Story of Kiran Nidhi Sansthan, Piplantri
In 2007, Shyam Sunder Paliwal from Piplantri, Rajasthan, lost his daughter Kiran. To honour her memory, he started a heartfelt tradition: planting 111 trees for every girl born. What began as a father’s tribute turned into a movement of love, dignity, and sustainability.
Each girl’s birth comes with a celebration — and a financial plan for her future through the Kiran Nidhi Yojana, which includes:
- ₹10,000 from parents
- ₹21,000 from the community and Bhamashahs
- All deposited under the PM Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana until age 20
Over time, this grew into Kiran Nidhi Sansthan, a force for:
- Women empowerment
